What guided the design

The discipline of 4:3

The TimeFrame was shaped from the inside out, with the 4:3 format defining its proportions from the very beginning. The entire object was built around that balance and refined repeatedly until it felt stable, grounded, and deliberate.

The Front

On the front, the design was distilled to its essence, and we added only what strengthens the experience. The geometry is calm and symmetrical, allowing the display to remain the visual anchor within an overall form factor that carries the presence of classic late-80s and early-90s televisions. At its center sits the 4:3 display, covered by glass that adds visual depth, weight, and a premium tactility. Above the haptic keyboard, a beautifully detailed and restrained logo introduces a subtle layer of refinement, catching light gently rather than demanding attention.

The Back

As the object turns, tension emerges between straight edges and generous radii, giving the body presence and dimension without unnecessary heaviness. The back is treated as an integral part of the design, where organic yet deliberate curves wrap around and support the internal structure, integrating technical elements into the form while subtly revealing them from certain angles.

This balance is shaped by the Gravity System, where curvature and proportion follow a single governing logic. It creates a controlled visual gravity, anchoring the object while allowing the upper form to remain light and precise.
